#1  Who are we?
Our association seeks to promote a positive atmosphere for the building industry, by providing educational opportunities commensurate with member needs, communicating the latest trade and technical information, interacting with all government entities, providing promotional opportunities for its members and their products thereby promoting the building industry and by providing social and fraternal activities for its members.

The Dearborn County Home Builders Association, is a federally approved not-for-profit trade organization.

We are associated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Indiana Builders Association, and have jurisdiction in Dearborn County.

#2 Our mission: To promote, educate and network along with providing advocacy, education and meaningful services to benefit its members and the new-home building industry

#3 Community Involvement: DCHBA membership is promoted at the annual Home & Garden show, providing attendees with information about new-home construction. Several thousand of the DCHBA member informational programs are given out to attendees every year, further educating the public about the importance of doing business with a DCHBA member.

Entrance fees at the Dearborn County Home & Garden Show are donated to help advance local non-profits dedicated to helping the less fortunate of our communities. The Home & Garden show is held annually at the Lawrenceburg Event Center.
